4 days down, 7 to go

One of the ways I survive work is to email my sister periodically throughout the day. Here are snippets of the last 4 days worth:

AMY: How's work going? Still having a blast?

later...

AMY: So much for loafing around!

Up to my eyeballs in bills to pay for the Gala (more fun than paying my own
bills, but about as dull as it sounds) and reconciliation paperwork (and I'm
not talking about racial/ religious/ any sort of interesting reconciliation
either).

ALLI: Work is lame. Let's write a
story. I'll start.

Once upon a time there were 2 gorgeous sisters...

AMY: Who were stuck inside on a really nice day in Minnesota, which is rare (the
nice day, not being stuck inside).

However, one sister decided to break free of the chains of work and go to
the Bibelot.

ALLI: The other sister was hideously jealous and anxiously awaited 4 o clock when
she could break the bonds of oppressive manual labor and parade into the fair
and crisp spring day.

Yep, that's about all I got son.

AMY: (after arriving back from Bibleot- a small knick-knackish store on Grand Ave)
Pretty groovy. I always walk out feeling like I wish I had more useless
objects around my house. I was sorely tempted by a poppy scarf, a set of
t-shirt shaped key covers, $6.50 chapstick called "Boss Lady," and also a
vegetable peeler shaped like a monkey, but resisted and purchased only the
gifts I needed.

By the way, I OWN on the forklift. If anyone needs something heavy moved and has in their possession a mid-size fork lift, well... yeah.
