It's called mad skill people

When I was four years old, my uncle and his now wife Celeste asked me to be in their wedding. Accordingly, I got a new gorgeous midnight blue dress with matching shoes and was about as cute as curly red hair and huge brown eyes could make me. Proudly I walked down the aisle and made the flower girl look like an amateur. Oh yeah, Did I mention I was the ring-bearer?

Tonight my best guy friend from high school called. He is marrying one of my best girl friends from high school. Our story goes something like this: On the first day of 8th grade homeroom, conveniently held in the industrial tech lab, I met Travis. There were four of us girls there, all of us thought he was gorgeous, all of us were too scared to talk to him, I got up the guts, said hello and he picked me to be his new best friend since he had (over the summer) gotten ditched by all his friends. Throughout Junior High and High School I tried to set Laura and Travis up, according to the wishes of which ever one was in the midst of "He/She is the next biggest thing!" at the time. Our senior year, the three of us started hanging out a lot. Laura promptly developed a large crush on Trav and the next thing I knew I was suggesting that he take her to prom (also convenient because it enabled me to go with my crush instead of my best friend). Well, they've been dating ever since, got recently engaged and tonight Travis called me up and asked me to be his "grooms woman".

Only two weddings. Both in traditionally male roles. I am avoiding the "three-times a bridesmaid never a bride" superstition in a pretty revolutionary way. Brilliant.

Or maybe you are revealing latent transgender qualities? Just a thought.
