Manual Labor is killing my soul!

Ok, that's a bit melodramatic but for reals. Today was one of the 7 nice days that Minnesota experiences a year, weather-wise. I however, didn't enjoy it- not even a smidgen! I was stuck inside what has to be the dankest warehouse in our fair state. Then I drove 2 hours to get a passport only to be completely and totally thwarted by the fact that the US Postal service only sells "over-night mailers" at their "we're too insensitive to the working person to stay open until a normal hour" locations. Yeah, I'm definitely in my Allison vs. The Man mood. THEN I found out that I didn't get the internship with Norm Coleman. There wasn't an internship position open currently but they were very open to me "volunteering intensely". If anyone else is confused as to what the eff that means, then you are not alone.

This is lame. So I am currently jobless and totally throwing a pity party.

P.S Mom and Dad, little dogs suck.

I hope Coleman loses by one vote, so you can say he lost because he didn't hire you....ok so maybe I don't actually think that (Al Franken is pretty scary), but still ridiculous.

I hope you can recover your soul soon.

Yesterday, the dogs attacked each other viciously while Mom was holding them and she screamed like a banshee and proceded to breathe the threat that if they ever did that again, she would "kick them to Jesus."

Apparently she is agreeing that little dogs suck.
